DATA QUALITY INFORMATION

Data Quality: All county boundary alignments are derived directly from state supplied
data. The original state data was derived from 1:24,000 scale, 7.5 minute
quadrangle maps, aerial photography, Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) system, roadway design plans, subdivision plats, boundary survey descriptions, and field surveys. The original state digital data was created by board digitizing procedures using the above data sources.
Completeness Report: All county boundaries as reported by TDOT by January 2000 are included in the database.
